May 22, 1999, Dalian - DUT's semi-centennial celebration today brings 6,000 people to Dalian from Beijing, Liaoning and many parts of the country, as well as from Germany, Japan, HK and USA. Many famous DUT alumni come to Dalian to celebrate this special ocassion, including about 20 Academicians, 20 provincial or minister level officials, and many top business executives. An overseas alumni home coming group led by Dr. Gu Zhi-hao (CV77) also participated in this grant event in Dalian and their reports will follow.
